Cameron Villa

This project has been a labor of love for both the Ocurrente design team and the homeowner, who has acted as General Contractor through the entire construction process. Inspired by French farmhouse architecture of the Normandy region, Ocurrente served as both Architect and Interior Designer for this expansive home in the Texas country-side. The home was sited carefully on the 43 acre property to maximize breezes and views. The home opens up to a wide entry court with a deep southern front porch which becomes a breezeway between the garage and the kitchen. The back porch mirrors this view, by opening the dining room onto a porch sized for outdoor living and a classically designed swimming pool. The Southern wing contains the master suite with reading nook, nestled in to a deep green copse of trees, creating both privacy and green views for the couple. The northern wing houses the guest bedrooms with views of a grand oak to the north and limestone stairway leading up to a bunkroom for the children and a large gameroom complete with wet bar.
